Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in forestry, environmental science, land surveying, or a related field.
• Experience in forest surveying or land management is preferred.
• Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), GPS, and forest management software.
• Ability to interpret topographic maps and forest data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

•Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, often in remote locations.
• Must be able to walk, hike, or climb over rugged terrain for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.
• Good visual acuity for map reading and data collection.
• Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for long periods during fieldwork.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys and collect data on forested areas, including tree species, density, and health.
• Use GPS, GIS, and other mapping technologies to assess land and create detailed reports.
• Assist in creating maps and land-use plans based on survey results.Monitor changes in the forest environment and report findings to forest management teams.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards in all survey activities.
• Collaborate with forestry teams and government agencies for land management and conservation efforts.
